Inspirien presents a webinar:
Demystifying Medical Malpractice Premiums: Understanding How Medical Malpractice Risk is Evaluated and Priced
Friday, February 24, 2023
10:00am-11:00am (est)
About the webinar:
Who has the time or appetite to get into the details of insurance? That’s for the CFO to figure out, right? While not the most fun topic, having the right protective cover could keep the hospital doors open after an unforeseen event. There are many kinds of insurances that healthcare organizations should consider, but medical malpractice protection should be at the top of the list.
In this webinar, the underwriting team from Inspirien will share some insight on what goes into the cost, or “premium,” of a professional liability insurance policy. There are three basic things that drive the cost; market conditions (global reactions in the industry), exposure (risks to be covered), and experience (history of losses).
While you may not have influence over all premium components, there are some steps you can take to keep your premiums down. We’ll share what you can do to help manage these costs.
Lastly, insurance is one of those things you hope to never have to use, but sometimes it happens. We’ll be sharing the steps you need to take should you experience an incident or a claim.
