- This Coronavirus forecast was calculated for Georgia on March 13, 2020. Georgia is now 3.5 months into the Pandemic. Rural Georgia is now in the midst of a major spike. A lost of the spike through rural Georgia had been driven by nursing homes and now it is being driven by farm workers thought out rural Georgia. This pandemic is by no means over. Critical action must continue to be monitored and acted on. Continued protection steps must be taken and they include:
- Masks masks masks and more masks. The hospital must promote mask adoption in the community but especially in the hospitals
- Temperature testing must be conducted for employees coming and going throughout the day
- Facility lock down with only one controlled entrance is necessary
- Continuous disinfecting surfaces throughout the hospital is critical
- Suspect people for the virus must test regularly
- Hospitals must discourage gathering of 10 or more
