Rural Hospitals may be negatively impacted by the Coronavirus in many ways but the most impactful experiences heard to date are as follows:
- The Supply Chain will dry up very quickly including
- Amazon and other buying chains like Wal-Mart may run out of all supplies that are needed to operate clinical services
- Clinical services may be interrupted for extended periods of time which can impact
- Cash Flow and all revenue streams
- Based on the previous HomeTown Health emails about cash flow interruptions that can cause major operation disruptions, it may be good to implement scaled back highly controlled usage of all supplies.
