ELBERTON – Georgia lawmakers will take a fresh look at how the state regulates medical facilities this fall.
Rep. Terry England, R-Auburn, who co-chairs the House Rural Development Council, said this week that the legislative panel will look at whether changes are needed to the certificate-of-need program, which limits the number of health care services allowed in any given area.
