- Rural Hospitals are extraordinarily vulnerable to the coronavirus pandemic and with up to 40 patient beds it houses the most vulnerable people
- Nursing homes and especially hospital-based nursing homes patients are equally or more so vulnerable ranging from 50 beds up to 150 beds which means that a highly vulnerable large number of captured vulnerable patients can be exposed to the pandemic unless screening controls are employed.
- Business Office personnel are critical to the survival of the local rural hospitals due to cash flow needs
- Temperature screening is the major effective tool to determine the presence of the coronavirus
