How many rural hospitals quit doing elective surgeries during this shutdown time

Thought you may be interested in my response to leadership based on your answers on the question about of what is status of elective surgeries.

The  simple anecdotal answer is approximately 85% completely quit. Other 15% in various phases of quitting. All very concerned about startup and careful protection. Then most plan to  restart between now and mid-May. Many are awaiting supplies as in PPE’s. So, most are ready to startup but concerned with PPE’s availability. Most are ready but must make sure for orderly and safe startup. It will not be instant like it was to stop surgeries. Startup will be in next 2-3 weeks on average.
