Early in the week just passed, HomeTown received a request from Senator Kelly Loeffler’s office to help her conduct a conference call for rural hospitals to let her update rural hospitals about the $75 Billion Hospital program. She wanted to have three rural hospital CEO’s who were representative of the rural hospital community and asked HomeTown to supply those hospitals and CEO’s. Upon further discussion, it was determined that she was looking for hospitals that had several diversities that included geography, type of Hospital (CAH and PPS) and combination of services ( with nursing homes etc.). Additionally, she was interested in what may be the most pressing questions that these hospitals may have. With only thirty minutes to cover the subjects she asked that the chosen CEO’s bring their most pressing questions which they did.
In addition, HomeTown provided several other questions for her consideration.
