We are pleased to announce the South Georgia Healthcare Group High School Scholarship Application is now available. The South Georgia Healthcare Group (SGHG) is pleased to offer scholarship awards ranging from $250 to $1,000 to high school seniors who live in the eighteen (18) county service area of Region 11 and are entering a healthcare related pathway.
Application Criteria:
- An enrolled high school senior who is at least 18 years of age.
- Lives in the eighteen (18) county area of Region 11; Atkinson, Bacon, Ben Hill, Berrien, Brantley, Brooks, Charlton, Clinch, Coffee, Cook, Echols, Irwin, Lanier, Lowndes, Pierce, Tift, Turner, and Ware.
- Will attend a post-secondary institution within the area of Region 11.
- Submit a completed application.
- Provide a current high school transcript.
- Submit the requested essay as directed.

- Completed Application
- Current High School Transcript (an unofficial transcript will be accepted)
- An Essay that is between 250 and 500 words. Include your first and last name and answer the following questions.
- Why have you chosen a career in the healthcare field?
- Where do you plan to live, work, and serve after completing your intended program of study?
- Share with us what it could mean to your education if you received this scholarship.
