The 2019 legislative session has officially kicked off. This first week has been about getting organized for the rest of the session. Tonight is the Inauguration Gala then it is to work. The House and Senate bill(s) on health care should be introduced within a couple of days
Today is a very important day in the legislature in that the New Governor, Brian Kemp, will make his first State of the State address to the joint Georgia House and Senate today, Thursday January 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM. This is a very important address to listen to in that he will lay out his agenda for the legislature and for governing. Clearly, he has stated his interest in health care and has made some very positive statements about the need to change that he sees for health care in Georgia so the details are as follows;
