HomeTown was very fortunate again to sponsor the Rural Legislative Caucus luncheon yesterday in the State Agriculture Building across the capital for more than 55 rural legislators. This was a follow up to the HomeTown Annual CEO day with nearly 60 attendees of which 40 or more were from hospitals. This luncheon is an annual HomeTown sponsorship for the legislators and has been ongoing for several years. More the 55 legislative attendees were in attendance of which about 50 were legislators. It was an excellent conversation about rural hospitals where the attendees are very aware of the fragility of rural hospitals. We discussed the many bills currently on the table. There were many questions and much discussion.
